Chalupa a la crockpot

Serves a crowd.

Ingredients:

4lb.pork loin roast (trim excess fat)
1lb.pinto beans (dry, unsoaked)
2clovesgarlic, chopped (more if you want)
2Tbsp.good dark chile powder
2Tbsp.cumin
2smallcans green chile (suit your taste, I use 2), or
6frozenwhole green chiles
1Tbsp.salt
1/2tsp.dried oregano

Method:

Put all ingredients in crockpot. Cover beans with water.
Cook on low 8-10 hours.
Take out bones and break up meat.
Serve in bowls (over corn chips if you like), and top with any or all of the following:
grated sharp cheese, chopped onion, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, avocados, salsa, ripe olives...
